The Imperial Guards Alliance also known as [TIG] is an Alliance made
up of Guilds all run by Leaders who have been promoted from within, the
leaders of these Guilds have earned the trust and respect from the
Alliance Council to lead a Guild and keep it securely with in the
Alliance. The leaders work hard to monitor the Alliance as well as our
Officers. These Officers have proven they want [TIG] to succeed as much
as any Leader.
Our members are as important as anyone else within the
Alliance. They are with us because they want to earn the benefits of an
Alliance and start from something new. In time we hope to work towards
owning a town, gaining a High GvG rank. Already our members are
recognised in Alliance Battles as players that are reliable, non
leavers and have the knowledge to succeed, alone or with a team behind
them, our members will stay till the battle is over and treat everyone
with respect.
We believe there is no benifit in joining a high ranked Guild
or Alliance and having everything laid out for you. Working from the
bottom up is the best way to learn any game and to get to know your
fellow members, and in TIG we give the oppurtunity for you to set
something up if it is not avaiable - TIG can be anything you like as
long as you are willing to work for it . Our leaders, officers and
members have all grown with the Alliance. We have all learned so much
since the day [TIGC] was created.
We now have 9 [TIG] guilds and [TSTG] in the alliance with
around 850+ Members all involved in creating the Alliance. We pride
ourselfs on being an international Alliance (members from over 40
different countries world wide) with NO discrimination against Age,
Race, Sex or Religion. Everyone is treated as an equal no matter if
they are newest of members or most experianced gamer. Members help each
other as much as they can to not only help us grow but to enjoy the
game with friends that will respect them.
Although we do have Alliance rules and moderators watching the
chat channels this is done for everyone to enjoy the game and not to
feel offended, left out or recieve any abuse. Im sure many of you have
heard the term 'N**b' well this is something you will not hear or be
called in TIG, Because those that use it seem to forget they were once
new to the game to, the same as all of us.
Over the last few months members of The Alliance Council were
aproached by several other guilds to join the [TIG] Alliance. Due to
the way the Alliance has been created these Guilds were refused, these
Guilds eventualy disbanded an merging with our [TIG] as they had heard
and wanted what the Alliance could offer, the only exception to this
has been [TSTG] which is run by an ex-leader of [TIGO].
We respect and uphold the rules of Arenanet as much as we can, we also expect our Members to do the same.
